Giorgos Lekakis was born in Munich, Germany, by Greek immigrant parents on the 17th of August 1964. He was raised and studied there Sociology-Ethnology and Journalism. He is a writer and lyricist.

When he completed his studies in Munich and returned to Greece, he met with Manos Loizos, who is responsible for a radical change in Lekakis way of thinking, writing but his life also. He enters gradually in the music industry.

Lekakis bares the responsibility of the reintroduction of the folk ladies in the discographical foreground.
