Alekos Hrisovergis was born and raised in Viron, Athens. From a very young age he expressed his inclination to music and started his first artistic steps by learning the guitar. During his career, he worked as a musician, a singer but also a conductor of music bands, using this valuable experience to develop an overall view concerning the professional music stage.
Today, he is quite rightly recognized as one of the most important folk composers in the Greek music acts, since he has written hundreds of songs, with the large majority of them becoming huge hits and performed by very significant artists, marking in this way for ever the folk scene that represents the authentic Greek music.
